DICK WHITTINGTON CAST REGISTRATION

· Please make sure you check you/your child/children’s availability before registering and paying the
  show fee as it is non-refundable.
You/your child/children will be registered based on the
  understanding that attendance at all rehearsals is mandatory. Failure to attend 2 rehearsals will result
  in exclusion from the cast list.

· Registration of the Dick Whittington cast will take place on Tuesday 10 September from 5pm – 7pm in
  Honies restaurant which is located upstairs at the rink. (See below for further info.) NB: Only parents
  need to attend.

· Registration is primarily for children in year 11 and below who need to apply for a performance licence.

· However ALL cast members must complete and hand in a costume measurement form (attached) and pay their
  show fee by Sunday 15 September otherwise they will be removed from the cast list. Equally anyone who has
  not renewed their BISC membership by 31st August will also be removed from the cast list.

· The cast list is attached; some titles are provisional as the final script has yet to be confirmed. Only those on
  the cast list may register for the panto. Please note that the numbers in groups may be subject to change
  dependent on availability of chaperones.


PERFORMANCE DATES AND TIMES

Before registering would parents/members please note the following performance dates and that the performance times have changed this year. There is a performance on Thursday 12th December at 12.00pm – this is a schools performance only which is why it does not appear on the main flyer.


Wednesday 11th December Charity performance - evening only (6:30pm)
Thursday 12th December Schools performance - matinee only (12 noon)
Friday 13th December Evening performance only (7pm)
Saturday 14th December Matinee and evening performances (2pm and 6pm)
Sunday 15th December Matinee and evening performances (2pm and 6pm)


REGISTRATION

Registration for children in year 11 and under - parents need to bring:

1. 2 Passport sized photos of child These do not need to be professional or booth passport photos – if you are
    able to reduce a head and shoulder shot to a smaller size and print then this is sufficient.

2. Copy of birth certificate

3. Show fee of £15 (can be cheque, cash or payment by credit card)

4. Completed costume form – please download and complete

SHOW FEE

The show fee is £15, this fee contributes towards costuming, make up etc and also the provision of food for cast members between the weekend matinee and evening performances. This year all cast members will receive a free panto programme. Please note that BISC members are entitled to two panto tickets (per family) at £5 off the normal ticket price.

COSTUME

Before attending registration can you please print out a costume form. Select either principal or group costume. Complete this form and bring it with you to the registration evening. YOU NEED TO COMPLETE THIS FORM EVEN IF YOU ARE AN ADULT/DO NOT REQUIRE CHAPERONING – failure to complete a costume form will result in you being excluded from the cast list. There will be wardrobe leads and tape measures available on the registration evening.

VOLUNTEERS

Thank you for volunteering at the point of registering yourself/child. There will be leads for each of the main areas present at registration – please make yourself known to the lead who will confirm the help required /timetable etc. NB: The costume group do not just require those who can sew – help is needed in cutting patterns, issuing costumes etc.
