About Bracknell Ice Skating Club
Bracknell Ice Skating Club was formed in 1988 and is one of the biggest in Britain with around 300 members.
It organises club
competitions regularly and an annual very popular Free skating and Ice Dance Open which includes an Adult Open for those over 21.
All Ages & Abilities
The club caters for all ages and abilities from rink advanced beginner to British and International Championship standards as well as skaters with additional challenges. Members have the opportunity to participate in the rinks annual ‘panto on ice’. There are subsidised group lessons on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and club ice on Sunday evenings. The active Synchro section of the club has dedicated ice-time on Thursday and Friday evenings. The club enters teams each year in several inter-club competitions including the National Team Challenge.
Club Ethos
The club firmly supports Skating for All and believes that every skater, whatever their age or ability, should be encouraged to fulfil their skating ambitions. It also believes in the importance of a broad base of membership leading to a pinnacle of excellence and is therefore proud when members do well in competitions, particularly championships.
