General Notes on the Bracknell Opens
- A pass is not required for competitors to enter the ice rink and there is
free entry to spectators.
- The rink has its own free car park.
- There will be patch ice available each morning until 6:30am.
You will need to sign in at the reception desk on arrival and pay
before you leave (£4.40 per hour).
- The Rink has a cafeteria located on the ground floor at rink side which will be
open throughout most of the day offering snacks, fast food and refreshments.
- Due to the large number of entries please be ready to skate thirty minutes before
the start of your competition.
- Music There will be a music collection table at rink side and your music will be
returned there as soon as possible after your competition. Music will only be accepted
on CD or minidisk and should be clearly marked with your name, club and class, and have
only one track recorded. We advise you to bring a spare copy of your music on the day.
- Photography and videoing In accordance with Child Protection Policy,
photography and videoing (using a camera or mobile phone) are allowed, but only of
your own child (or another whose parents have given you written permission).
In order to do this, you must register yourself at the table when you hand in your music,
where you will be given a sticker to wear. No charge will be made for this.
No flash photography will be permitted during warm-ups and performances, and no photography
of any kind in the changing areas. The official photographer will be taking action photos
and videos of all skaters.
The password for viewing your photos has been notified by the letter with the timetable
and photos will be made available
