Happy New Year to everyone and hope that you have all had a good Christmas!

Congratulations on a fabulous panto and many many thanks to all who contributed to its success with a show to remember for our 25th anniversary year!  Mr Nike certainly enjoyed the show and his Christmas card with a personal thank you can be viewed on the club notice board.

Not only did the club receive a cheque for £5000 as Mr Nike’s beneficiary this year in celebration of the club’s 25th anniversary but it also received the customary £1000 donation to our development fund.  The Ice Ability collections during the fireworks event and the panto performances raised a fantastic total of £1023.28.  Many thanks go to the Ice Ability skaters, helpers, committee members and parents who braved the heavy rain to collect donations during the fireworks evening as well as during the panto.  Congratulations to our Ice Ability skaters who confidently performed their routines during the panto interval and many thanks to Chris, Penny and the IA volunteers for their hard work.

Club sessions commence this week with normal sessions on Tuesday 5 – 6.30pm and Thursday 5 – 6pm.  Ice Ability 6pm – 7pm.

Club party – is planned for this Saturday 11 January from 6 – 9pm and will be off ice.  Further details to follow.
