b       Bracknell Ice Skating Club Email Newsflash April 2014

Many many thanks to those parents and skaters who have volunteered their services for our Opens next week.  However we are still extremely short of cover for all days/all roles and particularly first thing in the morning and after 3 pm.  Please can you check your diaries and see if you are available to help in the following areas.

Gate Stewards

Music Collection and Reception

Hospitality/Runners

Timekeepers

Videographer

The roles of timekeeper and videographer are essential for the running of IJS and cover is required throughout the five days.  Please consider helping in these areas.  The timekeeper sits with the judges and times all the routines (not pattern dances) and the videographer videos each skater as they compete and is positioned next to the result team.  The camera (on tripod with handle) with recording equipment is provided and set up by the results team.

Days and hours are as follows

28.4.14     Monday – Dance  8 am – 7 pm

29.4.14     Tuesday – Dance 7.30 am – 7.30 pm

30.4.14     Wednesday – Adult Dance and Free 7.30 am – 5.30 pm

1.5.14       Thursday – Free 7.30 am – 5.45 pm and 7.15 – 9.15 pm
