For those of you that have not done artistic competitions before – there are 5 judges – each looking at different aspects of your programme –

- Technical merit,
- Artistic impression,
- Musical interpretation,
- Choreography and
- Costume and props,

and all 5 judges will give a second mark for entertainment value.


Class 1 Solo, level 1 and under no minimum standard, but must not hold any of level 2 elements/free up to 2 mins 5 secs.
Class 2 Solo, levels 2 and 3 must hold at least one of level 2 elements/free, but must not hold any of level 4 elements/free 2 mins +/- 5 secs.
Class 3 Solo, levels 4 and 5 must hold at least one of level 4 elements/free - Must not hold any of level 6 elements/free up to 2 mins 40 secs
Class 4 Solo, level 6 and above must hold at least one of level 6 elements/free up to 2 mins 40 secs
Class 5 Group of 2 to 4 skaters any standard up to 3 mins

Please note that classes 1 to 4 may be combined or split depending on the number of entries

NOTES

- Vocal music may be used
- No fireworks (or similar) are allowed
- Props can be used but they must be positioned only by the skater
- No intervention by a 3rd party (not on the ice) such as remote control or throwing on of props
- All skaters must be members of BISC.
- Age under 21
- NISA standard as of Sunday 4th March 2007.
- Closing date for entries is Sunday 4th March 2007 at 9.00 am
- Entry fee:
- Classes 1 to 4: £4.00,
- Class 5: £8.00 (per entry, not per skater)
- You will have the opportunity to compete with the same program in the Bracknell Open in April 2007 and other - Clubs may offer similar classes in their Open Competitions in the coming year
